About 22-25 km. Walk across the Ganga at Ram Jhula and see the ashrams.

Afternoon

Cafes or rafting

Rest in a riverside cafe, or go rafting in season (roughly October to June).

Evening

Triveni Ghat or Parmarth Niketan aarti

See Rishikesh's own Ganga Aarti before heading on.

Haridwar Itinerary: FAQs

How many days are enough for Haridwar?

One full day covers the ghat, both ropeway temples and the evening aarti. Two days let you add Rishikesh.

Should I see the morning or evening aarti?

The evening aarti is the famous one. The morning aarti is calmer and good if you dislike crowds.
