End with a walk around Paltan Bazaar and the Clock Tower, or coffee and bakery treats on Rajpur Road.

If you have only an hour or two

  • Go straight to Tapkeshwar early in the morning; darshan and a look around take about an hour.
  • On Mondays, festival days and in Shravan, allow an extra hour for queues.
  • If you have time left, add FRI, which is only 10-15 minutes away.
