Tips for the itinerary
- In deep snow, the summit push may stop short of Dayara top; the meadow itself is the main goal.
- Keep a spare day in January, when snow can slow the road beyond Uttarkashi.
- Camps vary by operator (Gui, Gidara, Chilapada, Barnala); check your plan.
- Drink water often, even in cold weather.
